Saying goodbye to summer in Lisbon and Lagos, Portugal

People following of my photographic journey might have sensed that Portugal has a special place in my heart. I don't think I can ever get enough of its beautiful capital city, its lovely surfer towns, its cliffs, its views over the ocean, its beaches, everything. Coming back in September 2022, four years after my first solotrip to Portugal, I got off the plane and immediately felt the same connection to the country I felt when I came here for the first time. After a couple of days in Lisbon with lots of good food, fantastic views over the city and a lot of steps, my friends and I took the bus to Lagos and stayed in a lovely surf hostel for a week. We met amazing people, explored Algarve's beaches and coastline and caught some waves. That's what I call a perfect ending of the summer.
