A 7 Day Roadtrip through Bosnia and Montenegro with lots of Ups and Downs

Description:
In Summer 2022 my flatmates and I started a roadtrip with my family's old VW T4 campervan. The first days went well, we drove all the way through Croatia to Bosnia, but then things started to go really wrong. On our way to Montenegro the van's coolant temperature warning light illuminated. So we stopped in the middle of nowhere and when we opened the hood the coolant was bubbling and the engine compartment was smoking. Long story short: No internet, no service, heavy storms, language barriers and a major problem with the van really tested our improvisation and stress management skills. But with the help of the friendliest locals ever we made it from a workshop in Bosnia to another one in Montenegro and finally to one in Croatia, where they could help us. Even though the trip did not at all go as planned, we have a good story to tell, got to experience some non-touristic sides of Balkan countries and I know a lot about fans and engines now.
